Gadgets...

Obviously...The ipad. I would take this or a mac pro.

The Kindle. I think that if I had one of these I would read more...first I will get one for my mother for Christmas and maybe try it out to see if I would actually use it.

Anyone who knows me, knows that I love taking pictures. Unfortunately I have a pretty crappy camera...compared to the new ones that are available now. I would like the Canon Rebel T1I.

Frye Carson Pull On Boots

I MUST have these soon. Planning on ordering them asap...I am obsessed. Saw them on a friend and knew I had to have them!! As Kelly said, they are the perfect balance between cowboy and dressy.

Ghost Chair

I have been wanting to revamp my furniture at my condo and completely redecorate! I am looking for a Chandelier and a GHOST CHAIR! I want to find a simple vanity (maybe at a thrift store or estate sale) sand it, paint it, etc. and add the ghost chair! I also need new wall art and or sconces. Any ideas or findings would be appreciated!!

Mr. and Mrs. William Foreman Miller!!!

Words cannot even describe the amazing weekend I had. Lacey and Will are definitely one of a kind. They were meant to be together. End of story!! I balled my eyes out at the rehearsal dinner. Will even started to cry as he was talking about Lacey during his speech. I just love the Miller and Johnson family to death!! I do have to say how proud I was of Ethan. His speech was so sweet and thoughtful. The rest of the bridesmaids made fabulous toasts to the beautiful bride to be and then we all went to 206 for cocktails after the dinner. Saturday Lacey had her wedding party brunch. I LOVE breakfast foods...needless to say I didn't eat again that day until the Reception. The ceremony was perfect...Will dipped lacey and kissed her and her veil fell off. I expected Will to pull something like that...but it was precious. The reception was a blast. Band was amazing and everyone had so much fun!! Only one issue...the asshole limo driver trotted into the reception and told lacey "If you don't come on right now, I am leaving you both" ...so they frantically raced to gather their things, say their goodbyes and walk through the red and white and black and gold pom poms and off to the limo...only to find Sarah Duncan and Cole Pierce hiding inside the Limo to "surprise" them...THEN the limo driver aka bastard from hell told them they couldn't go by lacey's parents house to get her bags...while he was explaining this to her, she got a voicemail from their hotel in new orleans saying they overbooked but were putting them in a sister hotel in Metarie! (The plan was for them to stay in Nola that night and limo driver was taking them there) Guess what???... Cab driver said " No, I will not take you to Metarie. It's New Orleans or nothing" ...so to make this loonnnggg story a little bit short...lacey's Dad and Will had to have a few choice words with Mr. Cab Driver. Needless to say, he didn't get paid and Lacey and Will had to spend their wedding night at Lacey's parents house. So. Thank you Mr. Asshole cab driver for making the bride cry her eyes out the night of her wedding. Clearly he wasn't aware of what his job consists of. Surely he will be fired. Sunday, Lacey and Will jumped in the car with some others going to the Saints game and made it to the start of their honeymoon. They left Monday morning for the Dominican Republic!! Congrats to my favorite couple. I love you both.

Southern Miss Homecoming 2010

I have been looking forward to this weekend for so long! My favorite people were all in town for an exciting and busy weekend. Girls night was a blast Thursday! Dinner at The Hog and of course Danielle and Watts couldn't come to the Burg without a stop at Mugshots. Friday, Jessica and Watts had a Phi Mu Alumni dinner at Walnut and I went to Bianchi's for dinner with Brittany Walker, watched a little George McConnell outside of Brownstones and then headed to Old Athens and Mugs. Saturday, I got an early surprise from my sweet, Chappell!! She surprised me and showed up at my house extra BRIGHT AND EARLY. Sakura for lunch (with some very interesting commentary from Chappell) and tailgating with all my friends made for a perfect weekend. Love you all!

Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Hyde

Well... Another wedding has come and gone. Catherine really surprised me! She was EXTREMELY calm and composed the entire weekend. I headed to P'cola Thursday around noon. Arrived by 4:30, showered and headed out to the Beach for Catherine and Jeff's Sound side Supper catered by my favorite fried fish restaurant at home. My mouth is watering NOW (words can't describe how yummy their cheese grits are). Exhausted and full at this point-I hadn't gone to sleep the entire week before until after midnight each night working on her rehearsal dinner video (which my mom and I didn't finish until an hour or so before the dinner Friday). Friday rolls around and I did some last minute shenanigans with CC and Jeff, got ready for dinner (tried everything on that I brought home bc Mom said everything I brought was to short...thanks) and finally opted for a yellow/gold dress (that reminds me of a Chinese womans attire) and headed out to the beach house again for the rehearsal dinner. Massive ANXIETY for showing this video..let me tell you!

Well I start setting up my computer, the projector and the screen and I turn on my computer and out comes this loud and obnoxious Grace Potter song that I can't for the life of me turn off. Face turns red and beads of sweat start pouring. So I work with it for another 15 minutes with the help of a few others, rebooted my computer and FINALLY! It works, correct songs and all. It ended up being a great night. Off to bed.
Saturday-the wedding day went off without a hitch! Hair did. Makeup did. Everything was beautiful!! Congrats to the new Mr. and Mrs. Hyde. They are going to have the MOST BEAUTIFUL big eyed, blue eyed children I have EVA seen! Love you both.
