Words cannot even describe the amazing weekend I had. Lacey and Will are definitely one of a kind. They were meant to be together. End of story!! I balled my eyes out at the rehearsal dinner. Will even started to cry as he was talking about Lacey during his speech. I just love the Miller and Johnson family to death!! I do have to say how proud I was of Ethan. His speech was so sweet and thoughtful. The rest of the bridesmaids made fabulous toasts to the beautiful bride to be and then we all went to 206 for cocktails after the dinner. Saturday Lacey had her wedding party brunch. I LOVE breakfast foods...needless to say I didn't eat again that day until the Reception. The ceremony was perfect...Will dipped lacey and kissed her and her veil fell off. I expected Will to pull something like that...but it was precious. The reception was a blast. Band was amazing and everyone had so much fun!! Only one issue...the asshole limo driver trotted into the reception and told lacey "If you don't come on right now, I am leaving you both" ...so they frantically raced to gather their things, say their goodbyes and walk through the red and white and black and gold pom poms and off to the limo...only to find Sarah Duncan and Cole Pierce hiding inside the Limo to "surprise" them...THEN the limo driver aka bastard from hell told them they couldn't go by lacey's parents house to get her bags...while he was explaining this to her, she got a voicemail from their hotel in new orleans saying they overbooked but were putting them in a sister hotel in Metarie! (The plan was for them to stay in Nola that night and limo driver was taking them there) Guess what???... Cab driver said " No, I will not take you to Metarie. It's New Orleans or nothing" ...so to make this loonnnggg story a little bit short...lacey's Dad and Will had to have a few choice words with Mr. Cab Driver. Needless to say, he didn't get paid and Lacey and Will had to spend their wedding night at Lacey's parents house. So. Thank you Mr. Asshole cab driver for making the bride cry her eyes out the night of her wedding. Clearly he wasn't aware of what his job consists of. Surely he will be fired. Sunday, Lacey and Will jumped in the car with some others going to the Saints game and made it to the start of their honeymoon. They left Monday morning for the Dominican Republic!! Congrats to my favorite couple. I love you both.
I was born and raised on the beautiful emerald coast of Pensacola, Fl. I have two dogs, Hampton, a Toy Poodle and Milly, a Labradore Retriever. They are my loves! I am not an avid blogger...but when I have the time, enjoy!
